Herping Virginia is a fantastic website resource for all the reptiles and amphibians of Virginia. This resource was created by my pal Ty Smith and his comrade Evan Spears. These men epitomize what it means to be passionate about herping. Now they are sharing their knowledge with the rest of us herpers!

When I first started getting to know Ty Smith, I realized he is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge pertaining to our local reptiles and amphibians. I’m so glad that he and Evan Spears have released a resource for all of us herpers here in Virginia. Herping Virginia is still in it’s beta stages (as of March, 2022) but I expect it to be an invaluable resource for many, many years to come.
